HÀ NỘI — A total of 25 contestants will compete for the Miss Việt Nam 2026 title in a spectacular open-air stage of the Dragon Ocean Đồ Sơn on November 11 in Hải Phòng City.

The final is the last stage of a three-month journey where women from many cities and provinces gather to show their beauties and talents.

Under the theme 'A Realm of Beauty and Grace', the pageant continues to uphold the core criteria that define the beauty of Vietnamese women: physical appearance, culture, intellect, and dedication. These pillars serve as the guiding principles throughout all the pageant’s activities and competitive segments.

Previously, contestants engaged in a variety of training, development and experiential activities, alongside their formal competitions. They receive instruction in areas such as performance, communication and social etiquette, while also having the opportunity to explore the history, culture and social life of various localities.

These activities provide the organising committee with additional insight into the contestants' personal growth beyond their stage performances.

From an initial group of 53, the jury selected 25 contestants of diverse backgrounds, strengths, personalities and educational experiences to advance to the finals which will be attended by 7,000 at Danh Vọng Square.

Speaking at a press conference on November 3, Phùng Công Sưởng, head of the organising committee and editor-in-chief of Tiền Phong Newspaper said: “The final night of Miss Việt Nam 2026 is not merely an event to honour beauty; it is a convergence of diverse cultural expressions, young talent, and noble aspirations.

"When the curtain is down, what remains is not just the image of a new Miss Việt Nam, but a story about the beauty of Vietnamese women which combines grace, charm, cultural depth, contemporary intellect, and a heart capable of deep emotion.”

In the grand finale, the judges will comprehensively evaluate the contestants' performance throughout the contest – assessing everything from their skills and knowledge to their composure and sense of responsibility. Miss Việt Nam will be a woman who represents Vietnamese women in this new era.

One of the session that draws significant attention is the Q&A round for the Top Five.

The Miss Việt Nam 2026 Finale will feature 25 contestants.

As of October 31, the organisers received nearly 4,000 questions from approximately 3,200 individuals. These questions cover a wide range of topical issues, including artificial intelligence, the impact of social media, gender equality, the pressure on young people to succeed, compassion, community responsibility, the preservation of cultural identity, and global integration.

The organising committee will continue to accept submissions until the end of November 6, after which they will select the most appropriate questions for the Q&A round.

In the final stage, 25 contestants will participate in competitions featuring áo dài (traditional long dress), swimwear, and evening gowns, as well as group performances. The top five contestants will advance to the Q&A session.

The winning will receive the crown and a bonus of VNĐ500 million (US$19,500) and first and second runners-up will take VNĐ300 million and VNĐ250 million, respectively.

Other title holders such as Ambassador for Compassion, Tourism and Environment, Media and Arts, and Fashion and Sports will receive VNĐ50 million each. — VNS
