ĐÀ NẴNG — Đà Nẵng International Airport has landed a place among the 100 Best Airports in the World and the Best Regional Airports in Asia in 2026, according to UK-based aviation consultancy Skytrax, marking the airport’s third consecutive appearance on the global top list after 2024 and 2025.
The Airports Corporation of Việt Nam–Đà Nẵng branch (ACV-Đà Nẵng) said the recognition reflects decades of improvements in management and the launch of a series of premium services for passengers.
Digital solutions and AI-based systems have enhanced convenience, including electronic Toll Collection, an Airport Operational Database (AODB), Auto Gate, an automatic immigration declaration system, self-service bag drop, self-check-in kiosks, auto-boarding gates, video call kiosks and multi-language information screens at Terminal 1. The airport is the first in Việt Nam to offer fully automated services from check-in to boarding.

Earlier this year, ACV-Đà Nẵng began construction of a new cargo terminal to raise capacity to 100,000 tonnes per year. The airport is upgrading Terminal 1 to four-star standards, while the new cargo terminal will become the first fully automated operation in central Việt Nam.
The airport currently operates 24 direct air routes, including 16 international, with around 112 flights daily. It was ranked among the top five airports handling four to 20 million passengers per year at Routes Asia.
