Sixteen teams compete in the Final of the sixth National University Championship' volleyball tournament on September 25-October 4 in Hải Phòng City.
HẢI PHÒNG — The final of the sixth National University Championship volleyball tournament began on September 27 in Hải Phòng City.
The tournament features 16 men's and women's teams who are the strongest from three regional qualifications which were held in previous months.
They are divided into groups playing a round robin format. The best teams will qualify for the knock-out stage at the Việt Nam Maritime University campus. The final matches are scheduled for October 4.
All games will be broadcast live on VTVGo, marking the national television station's debut as an official broadcasting partner for the tournament. Fans can also stream the action live on the Bóng chuyền Việt Nam Facebook page and the official tournament fanpage.

The tournament is co-organised by the Department of Physical Education under the Ministry of Education and Training and Vietcontent with support of partners.
Volleyball is one of key sports of the National University Championship. It is the second sport held before the opening of the Games. The basketball tournament was the first and ended two weeks ago in HCM City.
After volleyball, football will be held on October 19-30 in HCM City.
The National University Championship, which is organised every four years, aims to promote physical fitness activities among students nationwide. — VNS
