QUẢNG NINH — Quảng Ninh Province will host a special artistic programme on January 25, themed 'Proud to Follow the Glorious Communist Party – Quảng Ninh Spreading Its Wings to Soar', to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress.

According to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, this special art programme not only serves as a significant political and cultural highlight, but also creates an emotionally rich and creative space, instilling pride and aspirations for contribution.

By blending contemporary art with traditional values, the event reaffirms the role of culture as an endogenous resource and promotes the development of the province's cultural industry. 

This initiative is gradually establishing a professional performing arts value chain in Quảng Ninh, encompassing creation, production, performance and tourism exploitation. It aims to provide a foundation for the sustainable development of cultural industries, contributing to economic growth and enhancing the province's cultural standing both domestically and internationally.

The programme will feature renowned artists, including Meritorious Artist Đăng Dương, Meritorious Artist Việt Hoàn, Trọng Tấn, Mỹ Tâm, Tùng Dương, Đức Phúc and the Oplus Group. It is expected to last 120 minutes and attract approximately 50,000 spectators.

Nguyễn Việt Dũng, director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that investing in high-quality art events, creating open performance spaces linked to heritage landscapes and facilitating community cultural experiences enriches the spiritual life of the people and stimulates the development of the cultural industry, night economy, urban economy and high-quality tourism. 

This confirms the significance of art as an essential local resource, making a tangible contribution to positioning tourism as a key economic sector and cultivating the cultural industry as a vital economic focus in Quảng Ninh’s developmental strategy for the new era.

Quảng Ninh has already successfully organised several large-scale art programmes, such as the Hạ Long 2025 Concert and the concert 'Quảng Ninh - Heroic Mining Land'. 

These events attracted tens of thousands of spectators each night, creating a modern and high-class cultural and artistic environment while fostering new approaches for professional art events in alignment with international trends. This marks an important milestone in shaping the performing arts sector to become a cornerstone of cultural industry development in Quảng Ninh during the 2025-2030 term. — VNS
