As the culture of co-working develops in Viet Nam, a variety of new
"office" spaces are cropping up for location-independent workers. In Ha
Noi, the blossoming co-working scene is built on diversity, with
different spaces to suit different workers'' needs.
To pursue her passion for son mai (lacquer) painting, Japanese native
Saeko Ando lived in Ha Noi for 18 years. After mastering the requisite
skills, she planned to introduce the art form to the world through
exhibitions, lectures and symposia.
Taking the invitation of the Vietnamese Embassy in
Italy, Miss Viet Nam 2012 Dang Thu Thao will represent Viet Nam image at
the Viet Nam culture weeks in Tuscany between April 17-24 and Emilia
Romagna, Italy between May 3 and 12.
The Viet Nam Culture Festival, held in New York last
week, introduced several facets of the country and its cultural
identity to American and international friends in the lead up to the
Lunar New Year.
A Viet Nam Culture Week with a series of cultural
and arts activities will take place in Cambodia next week to celebrate
the 45th anniversary of the two countries'' friendship.
