Vietnamese history, dating from prehistoric times to the modern era, is
being depicted at an exhibition set to open on September 1 at
the Viet Nam National Museum of History.
Artifacts left by prehistoric men from the late Palaeolithic Age have
been discovered at the Sua Can Ty archaeological site in Quan Ba
District, in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang.
Traces of prehistoric man have been found at the Na Mo Cave in the northern province of Bac Kan. Members
of the Viet Nam Archaeological Institute and the Bac Kan Museum have
been excavating the area for possible prehistoric remains since early
June.
Experts from Quang Ngai Museum have discovered
several prehistoric artefacts dating back 4,000 years in the Tang River
valley in Tay Tra District, according to Deputy Director Doan Ngoc Khoi.
