Art by children who entered a road safety painting

Artists and fine-arts lovers yesterday celebrate the birth of Nguyen Phan Chanh (1892-1984) in Ha Noi. "Chanh
is considered one of Viet Nam''s foremost silk artists," said Tran Khanh
Chuong, chairman of the Viet Nam Fine Arts Association.
The wife dabbles in colourful daily life, while her
husband highlights his philosophy of life in vivid hues. Both in real
life and on canvas, they complement each other.
