Japanese detective manga series Detective Conan written and illustrated
by Gosho Aoyama won the golden prize for favourite book voted by readers
across the country.
Manga, anime, and other Japanese comic and cartoon characters will be
re-d at the fourth annual Manga Festival, which opens at the HCM
City Youth Cultural Centre on July 26.
The Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange in
Ha Noi is hosting an exhibition of 60 drawings by manga (Japanese
comic) artists entitled Women and Manga: Connecting with Cultures beyond
Japan.
