HÀ NỘI — Captain Nguyễn Văn Quyết scored twice to help Việt Nam All Stars come from behind to beat Manchester Reds 3-2 in their second leg match on June 30 in Hà Nội.

Manchester Reds, a team made up of some former Manchester United players, showed their experience with two goals early in the first half.

Nata Souza opened the score with a straight finish in the box on six minutes and five minutes later, Marc Fuller doubled their lead with an easy finish to pounce on goalkeeper Dương Hồng Sơn's mistake in the heavy rain.

The hosts began to push up and had many chances.

On 21 minutes, Quyết received a smart pass from former striker Lê Huỳnh Đức, beating the offside trap before rounding Reds' keeper David Aziaya to score into the empty net.

Eight minutes later, the Hà Nội FC captain was fouled in the penalty box and the All Stars were given a spot kick at the Hàng Đẫy Stadium.
