More than 120 athletes from 21 cities and provinces have registered to take part in the annual competition, which will wrap up on August 16.
The national tournament will be a difficult test for competitors with the best ones will be added to the national team which will compete at the world championships in the US in November.
At last year's world event, Viet Nam was ranked 20. — VNS
