The Đà Nẵng Fine Arts Association said this year’s Heartbeat of Heritage has gathered 38 artists from Bangladesh, Canada, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, the US and Việt Nam for the International Art Workshop held over the past six days (October 20–26) at Nghé Resort in Hội An ancient town.

It said the artists had created their works in an open space that harmonises nature with the cultural essence of the ancient town, a UNESCO-recognised world heritage site in central Việt Nam.

The event aims to honour the value of painting, introduce Việt Nam's cultural heritage to international audiences and foster lasting connections between local and international artists, building a professional creative space especially in the field of contemporary art, the association said.

The programme not only serves as a bridge between artists but also spreads cultural and artistic values to art lovers both domestically and internationally.

The exhibition opens to all with free entry from 5am on October 27, and artworks will be on display at the museum at 78 Lê Duẩn Street. VNS
